Colder weather undoubtedly signals to all that the holiday shopping season is just around the corner.
Helping to kick off what has been called the most wonderful time of the year is Jenks’ sixty-plus year tradition, Holiday Open House, set to take place Dec. 1-3.
This three-day event will start Thursday, Dec. 1 with the annual Lights On celebration, featuring extended store hours with Main Street merchants, the annual live lighting of Main Street with KOTV’s Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer and other activities including scheduled performances by the Jenks Trojanaires, carriage rides and more. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.
During this annual event, merchants will also participate in a window decorating contest, will have a toy drive for less-fortunate children in the area and will offer extended hours of operation.
For more details, contact the chamber or speak with your favorite Main Street merchant.
