This weekend we had a blast! Saturday, we took the kids to the Oklahoma Aquarium. They loved it. It took us half an hour to pry Allison away from the shark room. I think she's the only kid on the planet who isn't afraid of Jaws.
After the aquarium, we walked over to the RiverWalk Crossing and had dinner at this little Italian place called Gina and Giuseppe's. It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy our food. Oh, and it's right by the Melting Pot...
It's Friday night, and the work week's over. My friends and I have a standing date to meet at Los Cabos for dinner. You have to get there pretty early; otherwise, you'll spend a lot of time hunting for a parking spot. The Riverfront is packed on the weekends.
It's a summer night, so it's warm outside, no jacket required. We sit out on the patio at Los Cabos, listening to the music and the chatter of people around us, watching the lights of the bridge dance in the water...
Well, Jane and I had big plans for my birthday last week. I went out with my buddies, Tom and Neil, to play nine holes at South Lakes. Of course, Neil ended up spending most of his time on the putting green. Not that I can blame him; they've got a great one out there.
Jane and a couple of her friends went shopping on the river, and she actually bought me a cigar while she was out there. Can you believe it? I didn't even know she knew which kind I liked!
